About No.1 Chinese Food

Located at 17451 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, No.1 Chinese Food operates as a chinese restaurant serving Huntington Beach in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (714) 861-4088. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, no1chinesefoodca.com.

Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 212 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Huntington Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Huntington Beach is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Wouldn’t call it no.1, maybe 4 or 5. Service was excellent and everything you expect from a β€œhole in the wall” Chinese restaurant. Our food was not so great, quality of the meat seemed questionable. But everything else was good.

super friendly lady giving generous portions large enough to feed an army. I bought 2 chicken fried rice and over order of sesame chicken and two people ate two large meals. could have stretched that to 3 if we weren't fatties.

Two two-item combos, about $22~. As others noted, containers stuffed to the gills. Between this place and Lucky, I'd say this place wins for quantity. For the Panda-level Americanized Chinese fast food, nothing wrong. Shrimp an extra $1 charge, but tastes like it does at Panda. Noodles yummy, not dry or hard like Panda often has. Fried rice on par with other fast food places, so fair vs a good sit-down Chinese restaurant. Broccoli beef, etc fine - the usual simple fast food flavor - soy sauce, pepper, etc. Same like what other places have. They do have special dishes now and then, like jalapeno chicken for those that love Spicy! Finished a big plate of food taking home the combos, and probably have enough leftovers for at least 3-4 more meals. Great when trying to stretch the paycheck.

I love coming here for Chinese food! The only place I really trust for this cuisine. I always get the coconut shrimp, with just the beef from the beef and broccoli and the vegetable rice and lo mein! You can’t beat lt! For two platters that are jam packed with food it only cost about 22$. Today I got one platter and a water for $14.00
